I’m being driven mad by my phone.
It is never silent. I can’t leave it alone – I have to check it every minute.
These days it doesn’t even get as far as my pocket – I walk around with it in my hand! If I run out of battery I’m like a crazed animal looking for a charger.
HELP!!!
I’ve become a lethal driver. The tube is a nightmare. I’m turning into a social outcast at parties.
HELP!!!
Smartphone addiction used to be seen as anti-social behaviour that needed to be tackled – but now I’m an addict too!
HELP!!!
I read today of a pop-up cafe in Vancouver which created a space where all phone and wifi signals were blocked by an aluminium window mesh. They wanted to encourage customers to take a break from their devices and talk to strangers at their table. Brilliant. But Vancouver???!!! I can’t go all the way to Canada for a coffee. And I’d never use the cafe anyway – I’d go mad with worry and frustration.
Aaaaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
