Founder of Marcom, Chartered Marketer, Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and the Institute of Data and Marketing (IDM), I put strategy at the heart of everything we do for clients.
This normally includes setting it as well: consulting, researching, workshopping and writing it, as well as measuring its effectiveness in the market. In producing your strategy I ensure that every aspect is carefully considered so you can be confident that it will achieve your objectives.
Every aspect is investigated and the market is thoroughly interrogated to get to the optimum strategy. This way you can be sure that growth will be the outcome, with strategy as the tool and marketing communications as the method.
When I’m not consulting about marketing or writing articles on it, you’ll find me hiking, sailing, gardening, travelling, in the theatre, at a music festival, on the tennis court or cruising in my 1961 Mercedes Benz. That just about leaves time for my wife and three children, who luckily like to do these things with me!
My career in design and digital has spanned over 25 years and has included everything from brand identity design, product design, graphics for print, digital media / animation and web design and build.
This gives me a holistic view of the strategic marketing projects and campaigns we run, so I see them from all angles. It also underpins my commercial and technical awareness, so I understand what clients are trying to achieve, then design and build websites or other marketing campaign materials which are, first and foremost, performant and effective.
My strengths lie in leading the specialist project teams on design and development for digital assets – websites, ads, search and other digital marketing initiatives. Most recently, my focus has been on driving development in strategic innovations for Martech processes and tools for clients, not least as part of our own Marketing Technology stack.
I am an experienced and results-driven leader with a passion for helping clients achieve growth through dynamic marketing strategies. With over 12 years of experience in professional media and marketing, I specialise in account management, project management and copywriting.
For me, client services isn’t just being about a point of contact. It’s about being an advocate for my clients within the agency, ensuring their requests, concerns and market insights are always heard. I work with my teams to take their projects from brief to market, delivering outstanding creative driven by strategic thinking.
